William E. Andersen, Jr.

Director of New York Operations

Will works diligently with our clients and their financial advisors in tailoring estate plans that are tax efficient and most importantly, fitting to each client’s personal needs and objectives.

For more than a decade, Will has worked closely with the firm’s partners to develop close relationships with clients and their advisors, and assisted in the design, creation, and implementation of estate plans focused on minimizing estate, gift, income, and property tax. This experience includes the utilization of a wide variety of techniques such as Revocable Living Trusts, Irrevocable Life Insurance Trusts (ILITs), Qualified Personal Residence Trusts (QPRTs), Build-up Equity Retirement Trusts (BERTs), Legacy Trusts, Charitable Trusts, and LLCs just to name a few. He is also a contributing author to the firm’s quarterly publication titled “Current Events for Financial Advisors”. His research on estate planning techniques has proven beneficial for both the financial advisors we team with as well as clients of the firm.

Will is a favorite among clients because of his ability to present concepts both clearly and concisely, whether it is in the realm of Estate Planning, Funding, Asset Protection, or Estate Settlement and Probate. He listens to what clients say and more importantly, knows the questions to ask to identify underlying issues relating to what clients may not say.

Will received his B.S. degree from Flagler College and his Juris Doctorate from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University.  He is licensed to practice law in New York.
